Tips To Stay Healthy and Fit For Women:

Health issues faced by women are unique and quite different from those faced by men. Aside from common health ailments and diseases women also have to cope with issues of PMS or premenstrual syndrome, Breast health, fertility, pregnancy and child birth issues, followed by the all dreaded menopause and related health issues. Hence in addition to the regular health advice, women need to take extra care of themselves to maintain a healthy active life all through their days.

Here are some tips to stay healthy and fit for women and girls:

  1. Walk or exercise regularly.

  2. Eat more vegetables, beta carotenes, fiber and grains.

  3. Eat less meat, fat and cholesterol rich foods.

  4. Take supplements of calcium... women can easily experience bone density loss disease or osteoporosis.

  5. Drink eight or more glasses of water. This not only flushes your system of toxicity, keeps you healthy but is also good in the prevention of diseases such as arthritis, formation of stones in the gall bladder and others.

  6. Keep your weight under control.

  7. Get regular breast exams after the age of forty.

  8. Because of the unique nature of social issues faced by women, it is highly recommended to stay positive and listen to stress / anxiety relief, and other  Tapes and CD's . Or take up meditation or yoga.

  9. Be better informed about PMS, child birth and  menopause and other  issues related to your sexual health.

  10. Take vitamin and mineral supplements regularly once you enter menopause.
