Is there really a lazy / effortless way to wealth and riches?

The term ‘Lazy Way to Riches’ was coined by John Carbo, one of the greatest copywriter ever. Though the question remains: Is there really a lazy way to riches?

Chemists over the centuries have searched for ways to turn ordinary metal into gold, myths and legends continue to be popular about magical powers that shower riches... such as Aladdin's Magical lamp, or Ali baba’s cave of treasure.

There have been true stories of people who have stumbled across vast treasures such as pots of Gold, diamond mines, oil reserves etc, while digging around on their ancestral lands. Or even more recent tales in the news about a person finding a bag full of a million dollars lying in a deserted spot in a park in British Columbia, Canada, which remained unclaimed even when reported to the police and widely advertised... ultimately it was returned to the finder... Finders Keepers! 

  Yet these incredible things almost always never happen to you. They happen to someone else. Even winning the lottery or a jack pot never really happens to you, even though you may have spent a lot in trying to manifest it. 

The most I ever found was an antique gold plated tea set that was abandoned in the back seat of  my car by break and enter thieves, this was claimed immediately when reported to the police. Well the odd change on the roadside does not really count, anyways my ego prevents me from picking up the cent or two that almost everyone encounters once in a while... 

Oh yes, I do know that most law of attraction gurus advise you to pick up the odd penny if you find it on the roadside, though I beg to differ... for I consider this an act of poverty conciousness, I would rather leave it for someone who really needs it, and for larger sums I would try to find the owner first. 

So back to our discussion about the lazy way to riches. I do not think that there is any lazy way to riches. Though If you play your cards right, you can create passive streams of income for yourself... there are several ways you can do this:

Most obvious: create a website based on affiliate sales, although the initial setup can be quite tricky and difficult, If you are able to do this properly it can become a truly passive income stream. You can find information about how to do this all over the internet... though it is best to learn from the best. There is no point in wasting your time, effort and even money just to chase after 'free' opportunities... remember free opportunities usually give 'free' results... Another way is to buy real estate condos etc, and rent them out, though you may have to go and attend to renovations/repairs once in a while, yet it can also be called a lazy way to riches. Remember to use leverage through mortgage loans for the initial buy...

Yet another, make some smart investments in stocks and bonds... though in this case you need to be able to understand the market very well. 

That’s why I feel that there is not really a lazy way to riches, because you do need some expertise at the least just to set the ball rolling. 

Here I will tell you the true story of an enterprising young man who lived during the sufi era in Persia long long ago.

 Let’s call him Mulla. Mulla was desperately looking for work. He was a very poor man and needed to buy food.

 So he went to the local ‘bazaar’  searching for work. One of the traders agreed to hire him. His job was to deliver a large drum of oil to a far off  home in the village. Mulla loaded the drum onto his head, balancing it with his hands he started walking towards his destination.

 As Mulla walked, he started making grand plans...

He will receive One Dinar for his work. He would buy an egg with that coin. The egg will hatch and he will get a chick, this will grow into a big healthy chicken and lay more eggs, these he will sell in the market and buy more chickens, he would ultimately have a thriving business, then he will buy a home, He will marry a beautiful lady in the village, and have kids. When he returns home from work, the kids will rush to him saying “Daddy, Daddy give us some coins”, he will shake his head at them and...

Here Mulla shook his head, and the drum of oil toppled over, spilling all its content... Poor Mulla, he didn’t get his coin for this work. 

In the above story, even though Mulla had an excellent business plan of his times, It might even have worked out... had he just been a little more mindful.  

So I believe that being mindful... living in the here and now, paying attention to your intuition, and going with the flow of abundance is the easiest way and in fact the only lazy way to riches. The riches that come to you in this manner are going to be truly effortless.
