Puffy eyes refers to the condition of swelling
of the eyes either over the eyelids or under the eyes. Puffy swollen eyes

bites, lack of sleep, stress, allergies, excessive caffeine or alcohol
intake, inadequate rest or sleep, or even improper blood circulation, water

redness and itchiness of eyes if it is due to allergies; or you might
experience eye discharge and stickiness in addition to swelling if the
swollen eye is due
to infections; or it may be accompanied by other symptoms such as swelling
over other parts of the body etc... As for any medical condition, if
your puffy swollen eyes persist for more than three days, you better go and
see your doctor for thorough diagnosis and treatment.
A more common cause of puffy eyes may be be
due to water retention caused by circulation problems in your body. Water
may collect over the eye lids leading to swollen eye lids or under the eyes
leading to under-eye bags. This type of swelling is more pronounced during
the morning when you wake up, and gradually reduces as you get active during
