  2. Apply for your health care card

  3. Open an account in a local bank near where you will live to deposit your funds you may have brought with you.

  4. Visit the human resources office to get oriented with job search resources and techniques

  5. Start the process of getting a drivers license

  6. Start applying for jobs.

A good source for information : Your public library; Your HRDC office; Most malls also do have an information booth that can provide helpful pointers to you. Also most community centers have important information like:

  • Address Lists of schools in your area, you can send your kids to

  • List of daycares around your home.

  • Any other information you may need.
