Emotional Wellness
Emotional wellness can
be your passport to ultimate health, happiness, peace of mind, self satisfaction
and even abundance...
Theory
behind emotional wellness:
Realize that where
ever you stand right now, is an essential part of your spiritual
journey...
You cannot
get from here to there without passing through a certain route and
experiencing certain events along the way... say you cannot travel to your
hometown without following a certain route. Along the route you will
encounter fellow travelers, commuters, and other people who are each
following their own spiritual paths to their own destinations. IF YOU are
traveling on the road and you start hurling insults, screaming thoughts of
hatred and other obscenities to your fellow travelers, you will get hurt;
you will not enjoy your travels; and you may even get pulled in and end
somewhere else other than your intended destination.
So instead of
hating your current... your present situation, Sit down and thank God for
it. Bless each and every element of it. Think of the good that is coming
out of it for you...because there is a reason you are experiencing it.
Probably it will help you grow into the next spiritual stage that you so
covet.
Once you start
blessing, thanking God and looking for the good in your present situation,
by the laws of focus, the good starts growing in your mind and ultimately
in your life.
Since every cause
has an effect, and every effect produces more of the same...
By the law of attraction and you will start experiencing more and more
happiness, peace of mind and abundance into your life.
Steps You can take right now towards a more
healthy and positive emotional state:
-
Bless each and
every person in your life right now, even if it is your most hated boss
or that dreadful colleague... bless them all and give them love... say
silently ‘name’ I love you and God bless you.
-
Start
giving loving thoughts to your present position/situation/possessions...
Thank the God/universe for each and every element in your life right
now. Say... Thank you God for your home, the clothes you are wearing,
the food you have eaten... look around you and thank God for whatever
you see in your life... however small or meager. Do it right now.
-
Make a list of all the people in your life...
your friends, parents, teachers, colleagues, siblings, spouse, children,
co-workers, bosses, etc... including your own name in this list... read each
name out loud and say "I forgive you and give you unconditional love"...
Repeat this procedure individually for every name on your list, including your
own... if any hurtful memories arise about these people... simply brush them
aside and repeat... 'I forgive you and give you unconditional love'. Repeat
this exercise until you truly start feeling totally free of any negative
feelings and develop feelings of love or good will towards all people in your
life past or present.
-
Repeat affirmations like "I am Happy"; "I am
Healthy"; "I am relaxed"; "I am peaceful"; several times a day.
-
Read and listen to some motivational and
positive thinking books and tapes.
-
Follow up on your physical wellbeing and
health... do some regular exercise, eat healthy and start living a healthy
well balanced life.
