How Can I Manage My Midlife Crisis ?So one day you wake up and realize that you are going through mid-life crisis. You are not getting any younger, and old age seems to be beckoning very fast. And possibly your dreams still remain largely unrealized. Or it suddenly dawns on you that you have still not arrived at the proverbial meaning or 'purpose' of your life. You feel a lot of dissatisfaction... just like time is running out on you, and you don't know how to keep up with it. Uncertainties may be glaring you in the face, or you may be on the verge of a 'spiritual awakening'. This mid-life crisis may have been triggered by any number of factors... such as a loss of a job, career change, break up in relationship , a divorce, an empty nest syndrome, the sudden realization that you are into menopause or andropause. But don't lose heart. Have no fear. Like all other issues, 'This too shall pass'. Research has shown that such a midlife crisis typically lasts between 2-5 years on average. Then you are through with it. Now the million dollar question is: How can I manage my midlife crisis successfully ?7 Powerful Ways to Manage Mid-life Crisis:1. First issue to address is stress or depression - are you experiencing any symptoms typically associated with stress or depression... feelings of sadness, feeling out of control, feeling stressed out and under pressure, feelings of anxiety. So as a first step you have to incorporate some form of stress management regime in your daily schedule. This could be regular exercise, meditation, and developing other healthy habits.
