that you have decided to work from home, Let's first make it clear it's not
going to be a smooth ride. for the first few months or in fact even for
the first 1-2 years that you start a work from home job, you may not make sufficient to cover your expenses,
let alone the expenses of running a new home business. So it's best to start as
a part time affair or at least have a little nest egg to fall back on.

Do You Really Want To do?

is the right time to think what you really want to do? I know you
want to make money from home but it is pointless starting something in
which only a few months later you feel totally trapped and unable to
progress any further. You obviously don't want to buy yourself into
another job where getting up and going to work becomes another huge burden
to carry.

never really get too far in any of them if you don't really enjoy doing
them. yes first Remove all your own mental blocks and then see the money

some market research:

you are planning on starting a home business, you will be selling either a
product or a service. We will discuss online business later, first if you
are operating offline, it's best to know what your market wants or where
your market is. There is no point in doing a business that no one wants.
One
very rare and much in demand commodity in this era of super sonic
fast paced executive commercialism is time. Everyone has a whole lot of
things to do but very little time to do them. So this should be your gold
mine. Provide some services that every one in your area needs badly. Now
how do you find such a service. Review the people in your area:

Do
they need a 'pick and drop' service for kids?

Do
they need day care/after school care for kids?
-
Do
they need to run other errands- shopping, getting laundry done etc.

Will
a typing/ office secretary on call services be in demand?

Will
a special consultancy/ party planning etc. work out?

Do
the businesses in your area need a janitorial service?

Does
some spot in your town need a restaurant/cool corner/coffee area etc.

Lots
of elementary school kids in your area will be looking for private
tutoring, can you do that? - as simple as selecting your subject,
getting the course book, working through it yourself and taking out a
classified ad in your local newspaper.

Can
you be an information consultant- with the current information
explosion on the internet, lots of companies and individuals are
looking for information but very few have time for it, they very
gladly hire people for this research work.
Find
what is missing from the life in your area and fill up that want. Hey
presto you have a business!
