Becoming Solution Focused & some  powerful golden nuggets of Focusing Advice:

Your mind works by association. So Once you start thinking or focusing about something... you start noticing more and more information about it. Just try this experiment for one day... Think of a particular color of car... you will notice this color throughout the day. So what you focus on grows and if you keep on focusing on it , it will ultimately manifest in your life. Hence if you focus on the good , you will experience the good and vice versa...

The concept of focused attention all depends on how we perceive a thing or situation… everyone has a different perception of the same situation.

For instance, Have you heard that famous story of how when the early British traders of the East India trading company landed on the Indian shores, there were 2 shoe sales man, and when they saw all those bare foot people, there reactions were totally opposite:

One wrote back that there was simply no opportunity here for shoe sales, since the natives did not wear shoes.

While the other was totally excited, and he wrote back asking for loads of backup supplies...
 "we have hit a goldmine of a market!" he exclaimed, "Everyone here needs shoes!". 

Or lets hit more close to home:

Two people are laid off from work at the same time:

 One considers this as a God sent opportunity to improve her skills and immediately starts working with her employment  insurance case officer on trying to get into a course to improve her skills… she ultimately gets into a good course, goes through with it and lends a much better job, 

The other gets totally dejected, spends the first few months of her employment insurance cashing her insurance checks and doing a half hearted job search and when her insurance funds start drying up then in a fit of panic and anxiety she accepts a meagre job complaining all the while of the employment situation. 

  • We are living in a sea of wealth and abundance all around us… It is our choice to focus on  scarcity or abundance

  • Going with the flow is the path of least resistance to ultimate success.

  • You have the power to be happy NOW, not in the past or the future.

  • Change your thoughts … change your life

  • Affirmations are the first step to a better life and they work wonders.

  • There is power in your beliefs… If you think you can, YOU CAN.

Becoming Solution Focused -- Taking Focused  action…

The solution focused therapy is outlined in brief...

  • Know what you want…write down your goals

  • Affirm your goals

  • Take notes of all the ideas that pop into your mind while you are affirming

  • If some idea really pulls at your heart strings… take action, start doing it.

One small step Leads to One giant leap

'Even the greatest journeys on earth begin with the first small step'… famous Chinese proverb

 So set small do-able goals. For instance if your ultimate short term goals are:

  • Loose 20 pounds

  • Educate yourself

  • Write a book

Well then your totally do-able daily goals will be:

  • Read one chapter everyday

  • Write 500 words everyday

  • Eat one less serving of fries and one more serving of vegetables everyday.

Try sticking to these very short term goals for just a week or 10 days, and after 10 days...  hey presto they have become habits for you and you are now eagerly waiting to do them. Then you can gradually increase them…

 Start small, work at it until it becomes a habit and then take it to the next level. 

  • Use leverage… say credit card to develop wealth instead of just using it to buy consumables.

  • Try and delegate your work... don’t just  do everything yourself. 

  • Try something different

Are you ready to accept wealth into your life ?

Start Planning with focused attention … If you were to become incredibly rich…How would you behave:

  • What kinds of food will you eat

  • How will you dress up

  • What kind of physical exercise

  • What kind of friends

  • What kind of hobbies

  • What kind of books/movies

  • What time will you wake up in the morning

  • What kind of leisure

  • What kind of home

  • What kind of cars

  • What charities

  • What relationships

  • How will you talk

  • How will you walk

  • Will you wear heels or plain sandals

  • Will you wear a hat

  • What kind of purse/briefcase will you carry

  • Etc etc

Work out every teeny-weeny little detail first on paper and then you will ultimately see it in your ‘mind’s eye’ 

What is preventing you from doing at least some of the things that you would do as a rich guy?

 For instance… What's preventing you to wear those colours, those heel sizes, those clothes styles, that personal grooming? These are things you can start working on right now, so take action and the rest will follow, remember one step leads to another. 

Keep trying, There is simply no failure… you are just learning another way of how not to do something, so keep trying until you crack the code, remember what you focus on is what you get… so keep focused on your goals until your subconscious mind  gives you the brilliant breakthrough and you win, if you believe you can , then you certainly can. 

Your subconscious mind is your partner in your Success So acknowledge it and take steps to Focused Attention For Unlocking Your Mind Power Revolution...

Your daily routine for becoming solution focused and emotional therapy could be:

  • One 20 minute walk

  • 15-20 really deep breathing for at least 15 minutes a day

  • your affirmations repeated at least 100 times everyday

  • eat healthy

  • Pay attention to personal grooming and take care of your appearance

  • Watch your thoughts…don’t back track or fast forward too much live in the now

  • Be thankful for each and every person and situation in your life.

  • Be open to all kinds of possibilities

  • Expect success, wealth and abundance

  • Read one motivational piece or so everyday.

  • Project peace and love to all and to yourself.
