For instance, when you talk of pasta - what comes in mind is the regular salty/spicy/saucy dish that we all enjoy. Have you ever eaten sweet pasta? yes it is a true, tried and tasted delicacy in the Indian subcontinent called "Sheer Khorma" in the local limbo. It is  made of very fine pasta called vermicelli - available in packets in Indian food stores. How it is cooked:

take one table spoon of cooking oil in a wok, heat, add 3-4 green cardomom and fry until you smell the aroma, add half a packet of vermicelli, stir fry for a few seconds. Quickly add about 1.5-2 litres of whipped cream or even regular milk. Bring it to the boil while stirring, add sugar to taste. Keep cooking and stirring until it thickens and becomes rich and creamy, you may add finely or coarsely grounded nuts such as almonds, Pistachios, dessicated coconut to garnish, let it stand for a while to cool off then pour it in a serving bowl and allow to cool before serving. It's really tasty for those sweet cravings.

Unique yummy chicken: Take one whole chicken cut into small curry pieces, wash it well and drain. take about half a cup of yogurt, whip well , add salt and pepper to taste, mix, then add to the chicken and mix well so all the pieces are coated; Pour the whole thing in a foiled and greased baking dish. Coat the top with a layer of tomato and onion slices, add a few mint and/or cilantro leaves. Preheat oven to 315 degrees, then put it in to bake. Let it bake slowly for about 30-45 minutes , then increase heat to about 450-500 degrees to evaporate the liquid, for about 10 minutes. Serve hot with pita bread or in a bed of boiled rice with green salad. Yummy.
