Dear reader, I like you and respect you very much, and take this opportunity to thank you for reading this article. I sincerely hope it enables you achieve all the success and happiness you desire.

Now Fire Your Engines and prepare To Blast Off. 2007 is officially here. It’s time to get a little introspective.

Have you read the book "Acres Of Diamonds"? It is the true story of how the greatest Diamond mines of the world were discovered. The original owner Abu Hafed had an ancestral farm home on top of the mines. Well he sold it all for mere peanuts as he set out in search for diamonds else where, ultimately to commit suicide in abject poverty.

The new owners found the diamonds within a few years of their arrival and well the rest is History... all the famous crown jewels of England, the "Koh-I-Noor" diamond, all come from this mine.

You and I may not have a diamond mine but we have an asset far far greater, better expressed as:

"A millionaire is someone who knows how to use the real estate between his two ears, and turn it into something that generates lots of cashflow"... Dolf de Roos

These are not just beautiful words. People have gone from living on the streets to multi-billionaire wonders of the world.

David Ledoux, the MLM king went from begging the welfare officer for money to buy food,on to build a 25000 downline.

Robert Kiyosaki and his wife went from living in their car for 3 weeks because they were out of a home with no money, on to become the best selling author of 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' and built a huge business empire.

I hope this inspires you to create an action plan for yourself. It’s never too late to start somewhere.

For me the buzz-word in 2003 is ‘Focused Action’...

For to every action there is always a reaction . Yes, action always produces results. Take action Now.

 Right down to the cellular level our DNA is programmed with all the right instructions. Now how you flip the buttons and turn it on depends on you.

Have you watched the film ‘Ace Ventura – The pet detective’?- Jim Carrey’s first main big screen venture.

Jim Was one hard pressed young man, he wanted so much to achieve in life but experienced failure after failure.

Well what did he do to focus himself? first he kept on practicing what he loved most – making faces and trying to get a bigger role, also he wrote out a post dated check to himself of $20 million! And even signed it. He kept this in his pocket at all times. Every time he was depressed he would find a quiet soothing spot, take out his check and envision his future moments of glory while looking at it.

And guess what he ultimately got onto the big screen. With one thing leading to another, he has already signed a 20 million dollar contract, even the sign date was very close to the date on his check.

Now you say hah... only the successful have such stories to tell.

Well let me tell you friend, consciously or unconsciously, you have been successful in your past.

Even Now you can model that mechanism of your own success to get anything you want.

Yes anything you want.

For instance, Have you learned How To Drive A car?

First you were forced into it most likely by the need to appear cool or in submission to peer pressure. All your friends were doing it at that time and you were determined to out do them.

Your imagination was all fired up about it, so you first had all the necessary ingredients to achieve it:

• You made a decision to learn

• Your determination to get the licence no matter what

• A fixed goal –obtaining a drivers license and driving a car.

• A vivid imagination of you driving up suddenly to your friends and wowing them, taking them for a spin and what not.

• A need for acceptance or admiration was the driving force, the chief motivator.

Then of course came the action part.

• You ran to the licensing office to grab the info booklet.

• You studied it thoroughly and very excitedly went for the written test

• most likely you cleared it at the first go then bagged your learners license.

• Then came the next hurdle, getting a driving instructor or your dad/mom to give you actual lessons.

• You made time every day for an hour or two to go driving

• You practiced diligently until you got those parallel parkings, and other driving blues just perfect.

• Then came the D-day, the actual test. You got through with flying colours. And were euphoric on receiving your license. You had to take your dad’s/mom’s car for a spin right away. Or perhaps you did not make it at the first attempt, but your determination carried you through and you repeated until you hit pay dirt.

Well guess what, you had just gone through a well defined action plan. One of many you will follow in your life time.

Finally, once you had your driver’s license, you started hankering after your own car. You wanted your own car to drive around.

One achievement leads to another. Yes you had outgrown your current state, so you had to proceed to the next higher level.

• Again that clear well defined goal.

• You had that picture clear in your mind right down to the color you wanted.

• And you thought about it often.

• Then came the action plan, you either badgered your parents and got it if you were so lucky, or you got a job at the local mall and worked and saved and skimpered. Yes you slaved away until you had enough for a down payment or a second hand car. But you had your car. 

Yes you had unconsciously and very successfully achieved a set of goals.

Talk of teenage drive, determination and headfirst plunge. You could be so focused on the end result that you could drive at a speed of 80 Kmph on a 50kmph road.

Now, do You feel life is being unfair to you? You are probably tired, exhausted, unable to make your ends meet, feel unsecure and don’t know what will become of you at the end of the cycle.

Snap out of it! Energize. Step into Action. It’s never too late.

You have been successful in the past without really knowing it. You have the potential of being successful again. You can achieve almost anything you want. Just model your own past successes.

Oh yes?

• First sit down and think. Spend some time on self exploration. Do some self analyses, what do you really want? This should be something you want with all your heart, and have no self doubts or creeping fears about it.

• Next write down these wants clearly and concisely. Under each want write down a series of logical action steps you need to do to get what you want. Yes break up each want into it’s basic components. Remember the action plan to obtain your driver’s license?

• Make a decision to succeed. Channel all your energies into this one direction and be determined to succeed.

• Start working through your list systematically. Be totally focused. Yes take focused action.

• If you experience any set backs, sit down and review the mental image of your expected success and forge on right ahead.

With proper and a systematic approach you can reach peak performance. Then With one step leading to another, you will soon find yourself near the top.

But you need to take the first step. You need to get started. Once you outgrow the first one, you will automatically find the next one. The road to success is etched in granite. You just need to find yours and get started along it.

Well what are you waiting for? Grab a pen and paper and get started right NOW. Take  focused action. You have no time to loose.
