Beliefs for Success - 7 Success Principles
1. Irrespective of Your standing in life --
Whether you are rich or poor, educated or uneducated, enlightened or
unenlightened, powerful or weak --
Remember, we all do the same things -- we all eat, drink, interact
with people, have friends, work , love, live -- the difference lies in how
we do those things
2. Your thoughts create your actions… and
your actions create your life --
The thoughts you think will filter the way you perceive situations and
opportunities in your life, these will control the choices you make, the
decisions you take and the actions you do, these in turn will impact the
outcomes or what you are experiencing in your life.
3. Your behaviour or attitude creates your
thoughts --
For instance if you behave sadly or angry or whiny… you will have
corresponding thoughts and these will impact your life ultimately -- Say, if
you force yourself or fake yourself into happiness or positive thinking , or
laughter, very soon you will start feeling those very same emotions and the
quality of your thoughts and hence your life will change -- So fake yourself
into positive thinking or happiness until you get there.
4. If you are feeling stuck in a certain
position, in a job or a certain situation in life--
You cannot move into a new position or situation until you outgrow
the old and grow into the new -- You have to evolve to a higher level of
thinking and behaving before you can get into a higher position, get that
promotion or get out of an old situation into a new more positive situation.
You need to evolve and grow in your behaviour, your attitude and your
thoughts.
The easiest way of starting on this evolution is to first start doing your
best in your current situation, and then start improving on your best or
doing even better-- Do your best. Change your thinking. Increase your
knowledge and then watch for opportunities.
5. If you feel you are not getting what you
deserve or something is not fair, or someone is not behaving in the right
way towards you -- Why are you allowing yourself to experience that
situation or attitude or person?
You have the power right now to remove yourself from that situation … For
instance if you have a ‘snappy’ boss whose attitude is getting you down…
Well, you don’t need to endure that attitude any longer than you allow
yourself to…
You have the power to get out right now and get what you are worth… in fact
, you are only experiencing what ‘you think you are worth’, as soon as you
change your self worth , you will be able to change your situation.
6. You are under no obligation to anyone
except to yourself--
Your first duty is to yourself… love your self, increase your self
esteem, then you will automatically be able to excel in your social or
family obligations, your work obligations, your relationship obligations and
your financial obligations.
If you are lagging or slithering behind in any of those areas of your life…
it is first and foremost a sign of lagging self esteem…
Give yourself an esteem boost… just like you give yourself an energy boost
or a vaccination… you definitely need a self esteem boost from time to time…
even if you think you don’t.
7. If you think anything is worth doing, do
your best--
If nothing else, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you did
your best… and then let it go.
Don’t worry about the outcome. Don’t fret over the results. Just do your
best, and then know that the universal power will respond in your best
interest.
