Changing Minds
When you deeply care about someone in your life, you always want the best
for them. But sometimes in your zeal to make them see the light, you may
fall in to the trap of trying to change mind through mind control, influence
or even outright coercion...
When you have just discovered the truth of the
universal laws , you are so excited about them that you want to take all
your close loved and dear ones on the awakening journey along with you.
These may be your parents, your siblings, your spouse, your children or even
your close friends. You want to change their minds too. You want them to
experience the same bliss and freedom and release that comes from realizing
your own true inner potential and the truths about life.
You first try to explain to them but in
return you may only get further ridicule or more of the negative chaff.
Further down the road, if you really care about someone, you start
noticing how that person is
and you may start getting judgemental.
Negative judgemental thoughts start circulating through your mind.

You may even start experiencing
guilt trips about how you contributed in the past towards that person's
present attitude and beliefs.

Or you may experience anger about how that
person is sabotaging your efforts to change by constantly
bombarding you with negativity.

Or you may fall into the trap of the blame
game about how that person destroyed your life in the past.
-
You may stoop low to the point of
wanting to control and force that person to see the true way… trying to
change their mind.
You have to break out of this cycle as soon
as possible.
Stop! You don't want to destroy your
relationships just because you have evolved to a greater level of
understanding.
Remember you have to accept full
responsibility for what has happened in your life. You have no right to
blame anyone and you have no right to change anyone.
However much you love someone, if you fall
into the cycle of judgement you are limiting your creative energies… They
are being consumed by the energies of judgement, ego to control an outcome
and you are falling out of the path of universal flow.
You need to realize that you are on a
spiritual journey. and your loved one is on there own spiritual journey…
You can just give them loving
thoughts, bless them and wish the best for them then pass on…
Do not get judgemental, do not let your ego take over wanting to control,
force into change , influence.
Everyone is on there own spiritual paths.
Some are pretty advanced like you and others are still in the quagmire
bogged down by their egos and cycles of lack and limitation. True
awakening comes from within. You cannot force anyone to see the light. You
will just be blocking your own light if you try to do so.
Such people may be bombarded by messages of
universal truths all day long, but will not understand them because they
are not yet spiritually evolved enough to see and understand the truth…
and you can not do anything to rush them along. Do not try to change
them.
They need to take their own time in the
incubator of life before the awakening flicker of truth lights up their
mind…
You can only try by giving them a little
hint, a morsel of information and that’s it.
Let them move at their own pace, along there own path to their own
destination.
For every spirit has a goal…
In fact you may be creating more
blockages along their path if you try to do so. For everyone has
their own unique routes to the truth.
Remember the universal laws have always been
there, will always be there and shall prevail whether anyone believes in
them or not… you do not need to force the issue… you will only be blocking
your own progress if you try to do so.
