 Dear  Human Resources,

Even though I have tried very hard, I have not been able to develop an aptitude for my current position. To avoid any problems to your business due to my lack of aptitude,  I would like to submit my resignation. I am sure you will agree that this is the best option for me to find something more inline with my interests. 

 I have just looked through my contract agreement and could not find any  notice period in it. Hence I suppose this resignation can be with immediate effect. Though please let me know otherwise, and I will gladly comply with any notice periods. 

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you and the management of 'ABC Corporation'  for enabling an excellent working experience to me.  I expect that in keeping with the good name of your company , you will be able to give me an honest reference in case if it is required by any of my future employers.

Please forward my record of employment and outstanding pay to my  home address outlined above.
