  1. Our company consists of several different departments, and there is a healthy competition between the various units in terms of sales, projects and profitability. As manager of one of these departments, Will you solely concentrate on managing the department into maximum performance as a separate entity or will you look at the big picture and the overall company's interests while doing the best for your department?

  2. If you know that the instructions given to you by your executive management are not in line with the  broader project goals, how will you handle this situation?

  3. What is more important to you... meeting the sales figures while compromising the quality of production and putting your company's reputation at stake, or Pushing for strict quality control without care for the sales figures?

  4. If you find yourself  in a situation where you need to talk to the media, for some work in which you have personally done a great job... What platform will you be talking from ie. from the interests and perspectives of the company or your own personal achievements?

  5. Describe the difference between management and leadership using examples from your past experience.

  6. What is your management strategy with employees... do you believe in micro-management?

  7. What is more important to you ... meeting financial goals or completing project objectives?

  8. Describe a time when you were successfully able to come up with an innovative solution to move your company or  project out of a dead end situation?

  9. Describe the most difficult challenge you and your team members had to go through and how did you resolve it.

  10. Suppose you are faced with a problem, describe how you will brainstorm for innovative solutions. What tools will you use?

  11.  Describe a time when you used either power or persuasion to guide another person to a worthwhile objective. 

  12. Describe a time when you were faced with a conflict and had to use your communication skills to negotiate a successful outcome.

  13. Describe your experience of working in a team. How did you uphold team spirit and how were the objectives accomplished?

  14. Describe a time when you were successful in dealing with a difficult client,  person or situation.

  15. How will you handle a situation that requires drastic change?

  16. How will you deal with difficult employees?

  17. How do you hold up under the pressure to meet deadlines and project goals?

  18. Describe your experience in managing finances or budget?
